GLENS FALLS – Timothy J. “TJ” Wright, age 45, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 20, 2025 at his home.
TJ was born January 5, 1980 in Glens Falls and was the son of Timothy J. Wright, Sr. and the late Edna “Ann” Colvin Wright. TJ grew up in the area and attended Fort Edward and Hudson Falls Schools.
He was a jack of all trades and master of none and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone that needed help. TJ was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing with his nephew, hunting, dirt track racing, and visiting with his daughter.
In addition to his mother, he is predeceased by his grandparents, Agnes Keich, Robert Wright, and Donald and Pauline Colvin.
He is survived by his daughter, Alice “Ally” of Fort Ann; his father, Timothy, Sr. of Fort Edward; his sisters, Billie Jo (Ervin) Nash of Fort Edward, and Crystal (Kiernan) Wright of South Glens Falls; his special nephews, Zach (Desiree) Nash, and Adam (Kara) Nash both of Fort Edward; a niece, Stella Wright of South Glens Falls; his step sister and brother, Becky and Austin Knapp; his special friends, Jasmine Lake and Jason Barrett; and several great-nieces and nephews, and many aunts and uncles.
Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to Homeless Veterans of America, Inc., PO Box 56101, San Jose, California 95156.

To TJ’s family, we were so sorry to hear he passed away. We’ve known the family over 35 years and know without a doubt that TJ had a good heart.
