  16. So sad to learn of your passing, Theresa. My goodness, 93! God bless you!

I will always remember time spent with you, building jigsaw puzzles in the living room. Watching you cook (you never needed help, lol), learning new recipes. I still make a version of your split pea soup (yellow peas!) and your Tourtiere.

My time with your family was pivotal in my life. Those more than 2 years, seem like yesterday and, at the same time, a lifetime ago. My heart still aches for Markie, though I know he hated when I called him that. If I recall, only Annette got away with it.

I regret losing touch with you and the family. It’s beautiful to see the legacy of grands and great-grands you left behind.

May your soul rest in peace, Theresa. Please give Markie my love 💝

    Joanna
