Tania L. Woodward

HUDSON FALLS – Tania L. Woodward, 33, a longtime resident of Hudson Falls, and most recently of Southwick, MA, passed away unexpectedly at Glens Falls Hospital on August 8, 2023, following a short illness.

Born October 7, 1989, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of David and Lynn Woodward.

Tania was a graduate of Hudson Falls High School. After graduation, she attended classes at Adirondack Community College.

She spent the last 15 years in the medical billing profession.

Tania loved crafting and using her Cricut, sharing her creations with her family and friends.  Tania enjoyed gardening and took pride in growing fruits and vegetables. She was a great mom, loving daughter and fiancé, who will be greatly missed. Tania will be remembered for always being there for her loved ones, no matter day or night.

Tania is predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Lois and David Woodward; her maternal grandmother, Beatrice Barker; and her great uncle, William Barker.

She is survived by her greatest joy, her son, Matthew Woodward; her parents, David and Lynn Woodward; her fiancé, Shawn Duclos of Southwick, MA; her uncle, Mike and his wife Laurie Woodward; and her cousin, Ryan Woodward. Tania is also survived by several close family members, friends and her beloved dogs, Lucy and Buster.

Friends may call on Friday, August 11, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., in Hudson Falls.

A Funeral Service will be conducted 11 a.m., on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the funeral home.

Burial will follow the funeral service, at Union Cemetery in the town of Fort Edward.

Memorial donations in memory of Tania may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, in her son, Matthew’s name, to JDRF, 200 Vesey Street, 28th Floor, New York, NY 10281

    Lynn & Dave, we don’t know what to say. Nothing can help at this point. We are flying Ang home tomorrow to celebrate Tania life with all of us. She was definitely Angela’s and Heather’s little sister and Tre- mans buddy.

    Our hearts and prayers go out to you and we wish Godspeed to her.

    Matthew will do okey, he is in great hands.

    My mother , Patricia Vannier , babysat Matthew , for a few years , and what a great kid and wonderful family with just so much love in their hearts . When my mother informed me about Tania’s death it brought me to tears, and I still can’t believe it’s real . My heart goes out to all of her family , especially Mathew , who has lost his mother and best friend . Tania will be missed . God bless .
