HUDSON FALLS – Janice A. Flagg, 72, a longtime resident of Hudson Falls passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at the Fort Hudson Healthcare Center in the town of Fort Edward.
Born on June 7, 1945 in Fort Edward she was the daughter of the late Frank Colvin and Lena (Munger) Colvin.
Janice worked for the Washington County Head Start for thirty-five years
She enjoyed listening to Elvis, playing bingo, and cooking for her grandchildren. Janice always put others first.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her companion; Edward Hunt, sister; Edna Thompson, and brothers; Leonard Colvin and Frank Colvin.
She is survived by her four children; Brian Flagg of Hudson Falls, Michael Hunt and his wife Jackie of Hudson Falls, Donald Hunt of Florida, and Robin Schenk and husband Anthony of Hudson Falls; her five grandchildren, Amber Schenk, Taylor Hunt, Maya Hunt, Michael Hunt Jr., and Virginia Jakway; two great-grandchildren Sky Hayes and Mason Norton; her brothers James Cross and his wife Theresa of Hudson Falls and Melvin Cross of Glens Falls; her sister Betty Cross of South Glens Falls; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 13, 2017, at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., Hudson Falls.
A prayer will follow the calling hours at 6 p.m. Sunday August 13, 2017.
