Muriel attended St. Paul’s School, formerly in Hudson Falls, and Hudson Falls High School.
After high school, she began her working career at General Electric, retiring on May 31, 1984, after 29 years of service.
On October 20, 1946, she married Earl Lemery. Together, they had five children. On August 12, 1963, when their youngest child was ten, Earl passed away. Her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren all enjoyed family picnics at her home. Muriel treasured her home and loved watching birds off her sun porch.
Staying healthy was also something that Muriel took seriously. Three times a week, she drove to Glens Falls for exercising at the Wellness Center, until she was no longer able to.
Besides her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by one daughter, Vivian (David) Moss; four sisters, Lillian (Norman) Benway, Beatrice (Gerard) Belisle, Constance (Herbert) Lewis and Alva (William) Howard, and her two brothers, Laurent (Marion) Bernard and Eugene Raymond (Genevieve) Bernard.
