SOUTH GLENS FALLS- William Dean Doetch, 88, of South Glens Falls, went into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, March 31, 2018.
Born on January 30, 1930, in Ava, Illinois, he was the son of the late John and Ethel (Deitz) Doetch.
On August 12, 1989, he married Dawn LaVigne Hotte.
William was a self-employed owner operator of Golden Eagle in Apple Valley, California, traveling coast to coast every week. He also drove a limousine for Hollywood Limos in Glens Falls.
He was an active member of the Pleasant Hill Church in Murphysboro, Illinois. He and his family donated a new church to the town of Ava and they also owned the Lone Oak Cemetery in Murphysboro, Illinois.
William enjoyed helping his wife to sew and knit, shooting pool, woodworking, puttering with his hands, driving anything, including lawnmowers and nobody could ever beat him at checkers.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Johnnie Doetch, Oliver Doetch, Troy Doetch, Donald Doetch, Harold Doetch; his sisters, Imogene Thompson, Margaret Jones, Maryann Mayer, Phyllis Miller, Jessie Doetch; and his stepson, Edward Hotte.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Dawn Doetch of South Glens Falls; his daughter, Kathy Pettit of Los Angeles, California; his son Troy Doetch of North Carolina; his stepchildren, Russell Hotte of Queensbury, Debra Hotte of Fort Ann, Mark Hotte and his wife, Laurie of Glens Falls, Gary Hotte of Glens Falls, Robert Hotte and his wife of South Glens Falls; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is also survived by his very special friends Mike and Cyndi Seitz

Burial will take place at the convenience of the family at the Lone Oak Cemetery in Murphysboro, Illinois.
