Thelma (Barlow) Condon

Condon, ThelmaHUDSON FALLS – Thelma (Barlow) Condon, 93, a longtime Hudson Falls resident, on Saturday, January 21, 2017, in Cummings, Ga.

Born on May 22, 1923, in South Glens Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Grace (Kingsley) Barlow.

She was a graduate of Pottersville High School and then attended Plattsburgh Normal School.

Thelma served in The United States Army (WAC) during World War II.

On October 19, 1946, she married Leo Condon at the Zion Episcopal Church in Hudson Falls.  Leo passed away April 4, 1994.

She worked for the US Catheter Co. for 10 years in Glens Falls.

Thelma was a member of the Zion Episcopal Church in Hudson Falls and enjoyed reading, gardening and walking.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a son, Dennis Condon in 1969, a son, David Condon, in 2001, a brother, Duane Barlow, during the Korean Conflict, and a brother, Vincent Barlow.

Survivors include her sons, Larry P. Condon of Sautee Nacoochee, GA, Edward Condon of Hudson Falls; a daughter Joann Kauk, of Cumming, GA; 4 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call from 4 PM to 6 PM on Wednesday January 25, at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., Hudson Falls.

Funeral services will take place at 6 PM on Wednesday January 25 at the funeral home with Father Arthur Peters, officiating..

Spring Interment (with military honors) will take place at Moss Street Cemetery in the town of Kingsbury.

Bentley James Condon

JamesQUEENSBURY – Bentley James Condon, 4 months, the infant son of Brandon Nelson and Faith Abrams of Queensbury, went into the arms of the Lord on June 11, 2016.

He was born on February 21, 2016.

Bentley was a happy baby who was always smiling and laughing.

He is predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Gail Clark.

In addition to his parents, Brandon Nelson and Faith Abrams of Queensbury, he is survived by his sister, Ariana Condon; his maternal grandparents, Katina Condon and Kevin Abrams; his paternal grandparents Candy and Brian Morgan; his paternal great-grandfather, Bob Clark; his maternal great-great grandparents, Clark and Sarah Condon; his aunts, Hope Abrams and Danika Morgan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Friday from 3 to 4 p.m. with a service immediately following at 4 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
