Patrica Ann Latterell-Burns

HUDSON FALLS – Patrica Ann Latterell-Burns, 82, of Hudson Falls, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Glens Falls Hospital.

Born on August 9, 1942, in Granville, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Isdore and Mary Elizabeth (Cenate) Latterell.

Patricia was a graduate of Hudson Falls High School.

On December 21, 1970, she married James “Jim” Burns in Glens Falls.  Together they have shared 53 wonderful years together.

For many years Patricia worked as a seamstress for the Troy T Shirt Factory in Glens Falls.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, knitting, watching Crime TV and most of all she loved her dachshunds.   Patricia will be remembered as the glue that held her family together.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her three sisters, Wonana, Barbara and Betty and her four brothers, Ward, Merile, Jesse, Jr. and Hubert.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, James “Jim” Burns; her five children, Harold E. Brown, Jr., Barbara Ann Muniz, Ronald James Burns, Nancy Lee Barber, James Lee Burns and Timothy James Burns; her grandchildren, Haley Marie Martino, Jacob Michael Burns and Alexander Distisio; her sister Mary Holden; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 22nd at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Annette Marie Burns

Burns, AnnetteSOUTH GLENS FALLS – Annette Marie Burns, 52, of South Glens Falls, went into the arms of the Lord on Monday, August 21, 2017, at Mary’s Haven in Saratoga Springs.

Born on May 20, 1965, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Caroline (Reed) LaCarte.

Annette was a graduate of Hudson Falls High School.

For many years she worked as a waitress at Good Times, formerly in Hudson Falls and BJ’s Wholesale Club as a baker in Saratoga Springs.

Annette was active in a cancer support group.  She enjoyed dancing, country music, motorcycling, fishing, yard saleing and Dirty John’s hotdogs.  Most of all, Annette loved her family and was devoted to her two girls.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister in law, Gail LaCarte.

She is survived by her two daughters, Caroline Elizabeth Burns and Caer Lynn “KiKi” Alannah Burns, both of Waterford; her siblings, Marva Henderson and her husband, Ron of Arizona, Joseph LaCarte of Arizona, Karen Kelley and her husband, Howard of Hudson Falls and Michael LaCarte of PA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Rite of Committal will be 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in West Glens Falls.
