FORT ANN – Seward D. Habshi, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at his home in Fort Ann.
Born June 1, 1967, in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Seward J. and Carol Habshi.
Seward was a graduate of Hudson Falls High School. He was known as “Scooby” by his friends. He worked many years for O’Connor’s Construction before going to work as a truck driver for Charles Friedman’s Excavating. Seward’s passion in life was driving trucks and he loved what he did. He also loved hanging out at the shop with his friends.
In addition to his parents, Seward was predeceased by his nephew who he cherished the most, Matthew J. Habshi.
Seward leaves behind his loving brother whom he worshiped, Ricky Habshi and his wife, Korina; his sister, Sue Kyme, and his other brother, Patrick Habshi and his wife, Linda; and several nieces and nephews.
In following with Seward’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
Ricky and Korina can’t thank Patti Winchell enough for all the love and support she provided to Seward throughout the years.
