He had a fondness for his Chevy Ranchero and relished trips to hunting camp with family and friends. His love of bowling in the late 70’s into the mid 90’s with his wife Mary, formed the foundation of his love for bowling that his family continues to share to this day. After retirement, Rolland treasured time with his loved ones and took pleasure in watching “Gunsmoke” and other old westerns. Occasional visits to the Racino added to his enjoyment.

In addition to his parents, Joseph and Elizabeth “Betty” (Gibson) Rock, Rolland was predeceased by his daughter, Melissa Rock, his brother, Stanley Rock, and his sister, Lucille (Rock) Schultz.

I worked with Rolland at GE many years ago. He was a popular guy and really knew his cars and power tools. He built a deck at my house that still looks great! Sorry to Rolands family for their loss.

I was Rocky’s neighbor for many years and he helped me with snow removal and hooked me up to his hunting club 777. We were always hanging out in his shed and drinking beer. His family and ours were always doing something..he loved to go fishing and one time he took my youngest daughter Caitlin she told me that she had fun …I’m sorry for the loss of both Rocky and Melissa aka little Caker.. prayers for the family…
