HUDSON FALLS – Roger Passino Jr, age 49, of Hudson Falls, passed away peacefully at home accompanied by his four-legged best friend, Chance, December 9, 2024. Roger was known by many names. Some of his favorites were Lunchbox, Son, Husband, Brother, and Dad.
Roger was born on August 22,1975, in Glens Falls Hospital to his proud parents, Debbie and Roger Passino Sr. He was welcomed home by his older sister Jessica, and later he welcomed his little sister Danielle home.
Roger attended Hudson Falls High School where he was well loved by his peers and some teachers. After high school, Roger went to work as a carpenter where he made many friends at JAG Industries.
Roger enjoyed spending time with his friends and family throughout his life. He had an unmatched magnetism that pulled people in and always had a joke ready to share. Many people considered Roger to be their best friend because of his charm and charisma.
Hunting season was one of Roger’s favorite times. He enjoyed making memories in the woods with his dad, Uncle Carl, Uncle Tony, Carl Jr., Camden and Carson. During baseball season, Roger loved traveling to Yankee Stadium and cheering loudly for his team. Roger’s favorite activity was watching his children achieve their goals and being their biggest fan. He was always proud to share stories of his best girl, Brooke, and her accomplishments. He watched Brennan walk across the stage to get his diploma and celebrated as a proud dad. He spent every Friday during football season cheering for Gavin and celebrating his passion for the sport. He was so proud of Carson’s new found love for welding and was there to give pointers to help him improve.
The best day of Roger’s life was the day Brooke was born. The second-best day of Roger’s life was the day he married the love of his life, Marissa. Roger found in Marissa the love he had been searching for his whole life. She completed his family by bringing him his sons and providing a love that no one else could have.
Roger is survived by his wife Marissa Passino; his children, Brooke, Brennan, Gavin, and Carson; his parents Roger and Debbie Passino; his grandmother, Ida Johnson; his sister Jessica (Larry) Stevens; his sister Danielle Passino (Jason Doyle); nieces and nephews, Lewis (Adriane) Humiston, Caleb (Anna) Stevens, Alycia (Noah) Stevens, Dominick and McKenna Doyle, Peyton, Elliana, and Aiden Humiston; his cousin, Carl Passino who was more like a brother and his family; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friend who were like family.
