KINGSBURY – Phyllis E. (Morse) Armitage, 57, of Kingsbury passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at St. Peter’s Hospice in Albany, following a long illness.
Born on September 11, 1957, in Amsterdam, she was the daughter of Edwin Morse of Kingsbury and the late Rhoda (Carpenter) Morse
Phyllis worked for many years for Eastside Auto body in Kingsbury.
She loved gardening and her flowers. She liked to read. Most important to her, was her grandson, Patrick,
In addition to her mother, she is predeceased by a brother, Randy Morse, her sister Melinda Morse-Chase, her beloved uncle, George Morse as well as several other aunts. uncles and cousins
Phyllis is survived by her father, Edwin Morse of Kingsbury; her children, Mikayla Armitage of Glens Falls and Aaron Armitage of Fultonville; her beloved grandson, Patrick Armitage of Glens Falls; her sister, Penny Delocco and her husband, Chuck of Fort Edward; her niece, Randi Delocco and her nephew, Anthony Delocco, both of Fort Edward; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
There are no services scheduled.
Phyllis’s family suggests that memorial donations in her memory be made to a trust fund for Patrick Armitage Account, C/O Hudson River Credit Union, 5762 Burgoyne Ave, Hudson Falls, NY 1839.
