LAKE GEORGE – Patricia A. “Pat” Bruce, 82, of Lockhart Mt. Road, went into the arms of the Lord, Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at the Glens Falls Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on November 23, 1933 in Hudson Falls, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Madelyn (Smith) Gifford.
On October 18, 1951, she married Clifford Bruce at The First Baptist Church of Hudson Falls. They were married 64 wonderful years.
Pat worked for many years as head housekeeper at the Super 8 Motel. She enjoyed crocheting, going to bingo and casinos and traveling with her husband. Pat also enjoyed the Christmas holiday, when she would spend time with her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. They loved her deeply and will miss her terribly. Pat was an unselfish person with a big heart, who was always thinking and taking care of others.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Jean Brodie and her brother, James Gifford.
Survivors include her loving husband, Clifford Bruce of Lake George; two daughters, Sherrie Kamburelis and her husband, Bradley, of Glens Falls and Donna Bruce of Glens Falls; five grandchildren, Robert Harris of Glens Falls, Patricia Dickinson and her husband, Kevin, of Fort Edward, Bradley Kamburelis, II and his wife, Jeanette of Fort Edward, James Graves and his wife, Laura of Glens Falls and Crystal Hafner and her husband, Timothy, of Fort Edward; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one sister, Joyce Mattison and her husband, Earl, of Fort Ann; one brother, Elmer Gifford and his wife, Dorothy, of Fort Edward; brother in law, Carl Bruce and his wife, Aida; sisters in law, Ann Gifford, Hazel Moore, Ruth Weaver and her husband, David, Betty Chapman; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
Funeral Services will be conducted by Daniel Helenek and William Smith, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, following the calling hour, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in the town of Fort Edward.
Clifford and Family So sorry to hear of Pat passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you . I’m sure that you have many special memories from the 65 years you were together. May they ease the pain that you feel RIP Pat and God’s blessings to all.

Uncle Cliff, Donna, Sherry and the rest o the family…I will always smile when I think of Aunt Pat. She always made me feel special and she will be truly missed. Let the Lord ease your pain…trust in HIM.
