HUDSON FALLS – Nancy J. Norman, 84, passed away on Thursday, April 10th, 2025, in the comfort of her home with loved ones by her side.
She was a lover of gossip, hair, makeup, shopping and clothes. She enjoyed beautiful days on the porch when the weather was just right, visiting with neighbors, a wonderful meal out with a delicious dessert, and she had fond memories of her many trips to the casino with the love of her life, the late Abraham Norman. Together they raised two loving children, Jill and Mike, enjoying many camping trips in their younger years. Nancy enjoyed traveling and shared many adventures with her oldest granddaughter Marie.
We are comforted knowing she will once again be able to embrace her brother Jackie who left her far too soon but remained a constant presence in her life and her loving husband Abe who will undoubtedly be accompanied by her grand puppy Charlie. Also waiting to welcome her will be her parents, numerous brothers and sisters in-law, her nephew Allen Martindale Jr. and her special friend Joan McCarty.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Jill (Susan) Norman, Michael (Cathy) Norman, her grandchildren Marie Schroeder (Erik), Clarissa Strong, Geneva (Logan) Terrio, great granddaughter Savanna Matrriccino-Strong and her grand puppy Stuie along with other family, friends and neighbors.
At Nancy’s request there will be no calling hours. The burial will be private.
The family expressed their sincere gratitude to Jill for the continuous loving care she gave to her mom that made it possible for her to live out her remaining years in her home.
Additional thanks to the Homeward Bound Staff and a special thanks to Aimee McMaster, NP for her care and kindness.
Memorial donations can be made to your local animal shelter in Nancy’s memory.
