Linda J. (Rouse) Garnsey

HUDSON FALLS – Linda J. (Rouse) Garnsey, 69, of Hudson Falls passed away peacefully at Albany Medical Center with her loving family by her side.

Linda graduated from Fort Ann Central School. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and snowmobiles beside her brothers, shopping with her daughter and granddaughter, doting over her great grandson, and spending time with family and friends.

Linda worked for Valcour Paper Company and Boston Scientific for many years, meeting lifelong friends.

Linda is predeceased by her father, Raymond (Carl) Rouse and sister-in-law, Connie Coughlin (Daniel Rouse).

Left to cherish her memory, her beloved daughter Colleen; the light of her eye granddaughter, Logan (Tyler); “her little man” great grandson, Maclin; her best friend and her mother, Rose Rouse; her loving brothers, Richard Rouse (Bernardine), Daniel Rouse, Timothy Rouse (Shirley); several nephews, two great nephews and a great niece.

If you knew my mother, you knew her caring, loving, funny, always on the go, no frill style. We ask, just as Linda did, to please wear your favorite pair of jeans to her calling hours. Family and friends may attend the calling hours on Sunday, October 29th, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Burial will be private due to the request of family.

Memorial donations in Linda’s name may be made to the SPCA of Upstate New York, 588 Queensbury Ave, Queensbury, NY 12804.

I will miss my good friend, Linda. Her love for her family was phenomenal. First met Linda at Boston Scientific in 2003 and stayed close friends since. She and I shared a love for cats.

I won’t be able to make the funeral service as I am in Florida and won’t be back for a couple of weeks.

    Condolences to her family.
