Francine “Frannie” Morrow

GLENS FALLS – Francine “Frannie” Morrow, 67, of Glens Falls, passed away peacefully, September 28, 2023, at her home, after a battle with lung cancer.

Born September 5, 1956, in Valleyfield, Quebec, she was the daughter of Annette M. (Savoie) and Yvon J. Gregoire.

Francine attended Valley Falls Religious School in Quebec until 1971 when her family moved to Schuylerville, NY.   She graduated high school in 1975.

For many years Francine worked for Electrolux.  In 2007, she started work for Friendly’s in Queensbury as a cook.

Francine was a woman who had an extreme generous heart.  She would give her last dollar to someone in need. Her hobbies included collecting Coca Cola items, gardening, growing flowers in her yard, collecting panda bears, butterflies, and crocheting scarves.  She loved gathering at her home, taking pictures and enjoying life with a smile.  Francine was famous for her hugs.

She is predeceased by her siblings, Leon Joseph Gregoire, Christine Mary Fitzgerald, Gilles Joseph Gregoire, and Guy Joseph Gregoire.

Besides her parents, Francine is survived by her sisters, Lucy Mary Gregoire, and Carolle Mary Hoose (Paul); her brothers, Joe Joseph Gregoire (Laurie), and Donald Joseph Yvon Gregoire; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Francine would like to thank her brother, Joseph, for taking over care of her beloved dog, Daisy Duke, her friend, Dave Mattison, for taking care of her yard and making her last wish to ride a motorcycle come true, her brother, Donald, for caring for and being by her side, and to her neighbor, Cindy.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the nurses and aides from Warren County.  Also, to High Peaks Hospice, Alita, Laurie, Noah and Josie, for their amazing help.  As well as a huge thank you to Laura Roberts for stepping up and being a dear friend until the very end.

Per Francine’s wishes, there will be no service.
