HUDSON FALLS – Cecilia M. (Winters) Nolin “Cie”, 68, of Hudson Falls, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, with her loving brother by her side.
Born August 13, 1955, in Troy, New York, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Stevens) Winters.
Cie was a graduate of Tamarac High School.
She married the love of her life, Mark R. Nolin on October 8, 1983, at St. George’s Church in Pittstown New York.
Cie began working in the medical device manufacturing business at NAMIC in Glens Falls. She faithfully stayed with the company as they became Pfizer, Boston Scientific, Navilyst Medical, and finally Angio Dynamics. She retired after 37 years of dedicated service.
Every Spring, Cie looked forward to gardening and watching her flowers grow. She was talented when it came to crafts and loved making something with her hands that came from her heart for her family and friends. Anyone who knew Cie knew she loved and adored cats. She always looked forward to the family camping trips in Port Henry. She found peace while boating and fishing on Lake Champlain with her brother and nephews. Cie loved warm water and sunshine and would make a trip to Jamaca two to three times a year. However, the greatest moments in her life were spending time with her cherished nephews Evan and Garett.
In addition to her parents, Cie is predeceased by her husband Mark R. Nolin and her loving and faithful cats Squirrel, Frances, and Princess.
Cie is survived by her brother Duane and his wife, Nancy Winters of Pittstown, and her cherished nephews Evan and Garett Winters of Pittstown. She is also survived by Marks family, her in laws, Dick and Marsha Nolin of Fl, Paul (Rhonda) Nolin of AL, Beth (Keith) Harris of GA, Matt Nolin of AL, and Lisa (Michael) Atkinson of AL; her nieces and nephews on Marks side of the family, Savannah (Addison) Lee, Joseph Nolin, Trevor Woodstock, Amanda Woodstock, Victoria Atkinson and Natalie Atkinson; and her great niece on Marks side, Georgia Lee. Cie also leaves behind her loving and faithful cat, Inky.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 11 Wall Street in Hudson Falls.
Burial will be private following the Funeral Mass.
Memorial donations in Cie’s name may be made to High Peaks Hospice, 1247 Dix Ave, Hudson Falls, NY 12839.
Dear family,
Many great work years and vacation memories with Cie, with her in-laws and my parents, and our Key West/Aruba travel adventures after Mark passed. I will never forget my friend. I hope Cie and Mark are reunited and on a Beach somewhere! Love to you all. God Bless & keep memories alive until we all meet again.
Cie was a rare, loving, and caring women who I’m proud to say loved many and loved life. I and many others lost a special person who really cared about you and always asked, can I help?
Her love and commitment to her loving family was unquestionable. Their love for her was also unquestionable. She will be remembered very fondly by those fortunate enough to know her. She is and will be missed so much. Thank you Cie, thank you.
