GLENS FALLS – Thomas E. O’Leary, Sr., 84, of Leonard St., went into the arms of the Lord on May 10, 2020, at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born August 4, 1935 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Dennis and Irene (Lemery) O’Leary.

Thomas proudly served in the United States Marine Corps.

He enjoyed fishing, trips to the casino, playing cards, travelling with his love, Toni, to Las Vegas and a good seafood dinner.  Thomas could be found sporting his cowboy attire and was always the life of a party, where he entertained with his singing and dancing.  Most importantly, Thomas enjoyed spending time with his family.  Thomas often told his daughter, Tammy, “I’m your guy and you’re my girl”.  He will be greatly missed.

Besides his parents, Thomas was predeceased by his siblings, Richard O’Leary, Jack O’Leary, Dennis O’Leary, James O’Leary, Jean Gwinup, Irene Bapp and his significant other for many years, Toni Blair.

Survivors include his children, Tammy Bottiger and her husband, Howard of Baltimore, MD, and Thomas O’Leary, Jr. and his wife, Wendy of Hudson Falls; his grandchildren, Casey Bottiger of Baltimore, MD and Keara O’Leary of Hudson Falls; his sister, Mary Ann Warfel of Denton, MD; his caretaker, Chris French as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Rite of Committal will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery in South Glens Falls, at the convenience of the family.

GRANVILLE – John W. Dodge, 74, of Granville, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born August 7, 1945 in Granville, he was the son of the late Charles W. Dodge and Gertrude (Pond) Dodge.

On April 2, 2007 he married his “darlin”, Mary Holcomb.  They did everything together; she absolutely was his angel. 

Most knew him as Jack.  He always had a smile to give, a hug for the girls and plenty of time to talk over a cup of coffee with his many friends.  Jack was truly a “jack of all trades”.  His working career ranged from selling cookware and vacuum cleaners’ door to door, to construction and then farming. There wasn’t anything that Jack couldn’t do with a piece of heavy equipment; he was a member of the Operators Union – I.O.U.E. 106 out of Albany.  He was a certified welder.  Jack spent the last 18 years of employment working for Tree Care by Stan Hunt.  He was impressive with a chain saw too!

Jack Dodge lived a life!  A life full of fun and adventure; he was not afraid to try anything – twice if he liked it!  He enjoyed activities ranging from scuba diving, to go-kart racing to team roping and calf roping.  He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, taking motorcycle rides and trips on his Harley-Davidson with family and friends as well as camping.  There wasn’t much that he did that didn’t incorporate his love for his family and friends.  It was a rare occasion to see Jack without his cowboy hat and boots as he had a lifelong love for the cowboy lifestyle; it was who he was.

Jack was a man of many talents.  He had a black belt in eating pepperoni pizza.  He could walk into a field of clover and within seconds find four leaf clovers repeatedly.  Jack was light on his feet, anyone with the good fortune to have been his partner on the dance floor will testify to that.  He has a quick wit and was a master of “just resting my eyes”.

He will be missed by many as he was a friend to all!

Jack’s memory will shine brightly through his loving wife of 13 years, Mary Dodge; his children, Kevin Dodge and his fiancé, Kris, Alise (Dodge) McDermott and her husband, Patrick, John Holcomb and his wife Crystal, Kelly Holcomb and Samantha Walker; his grandchildren, Kendie Dodge, Tristin J.D. Oakman (Grasshopper), Lindsey and Brody Holcomb and Mason Stimpson; his great grandchildren, Jameson and Rilynn will carry on his memory.  He is also survived by his three loving sisters, Lila Myer, Joanne “fuzzy” Aldous and Dorothy Rathbun as well as several nieces and nephews, each of whom he had special relationships with.

A special thank you to the Wade family and High Peaks Hospice for their loving support to Jack’s family.

At this time there will be no calling hours. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Jack will be laid to rest at Saratoga National Cemetery, as he was an 11-year veteran of the Army National Guard, at the convenience of the family.

GLENS FALLS – Elaine Phyllis Weaver, 91 died on Friday, May 9, 2020 in Glens Falls.

Born on Jan 29, 1929, she was the daughter of Harry and Bertha (nee Bartholomew) Knapp of Hudson Falls.  She is predeceased by her husband James Phillip Weaver.  

She attended high school in Hudson Falls and graduated from Potsdam University with a degree in education, specializing in early childhood development and special education for remedial studies. She taught in many different school districts including Queensbury, Glenmont MD, Winter Park, FL, Allendale, NJ, Central Bucks, PA, and Bridgewater, NJ. 

Elaine was active in numerous community activities serving as president of Flemington NJ Women’s club, member of the Morris Choral Society in Morristown, NJ, Volunteer at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ, and was a member of the AAUW, and Daughters of the American Revolution – Washington Crossing, PA Chapter.

She is survived by her son Greg Weaver of Glens Falls, NY and daughter Susan Weaver of Queensbury, NY, grandchildren Jeannette Weaver and Greg Weaver both of Doylestown PA, and great-grandchildren Elena and Tamsin Hollis. 

Elaine had a full and rewarding life. She enjoyed her career and social activities in addition to traveling with her husband, but most of all she enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren. 

Interment will be at the Union Cemetery in the Town of Fort Edward.

HUDSON FALLS – Michael James Keenan, Esq, of Hudson Falls died unexpectedly at his home on May 6, 2020.  Born on September 20, 1972, he was the oldest son of the late James E. and Margaret Keenan.

Michael graduated from Hudson Falls High School in 1991 and earned a bachelor’s degree from Siena College in 1996. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School in 2001. Following graduation, he practiced law on Main Street in Hudson Falls and served as Town Justice from 2006 until his death. He was a member of the Washington County Magistrates Association.       

Michael had a keen and creative mind and a lively interest in things around him. He was an avid supporter of the Strand Theater, helping to produce Indie Rock shows. Among his many interests a few favorites were collecting old and historic memorabilia, cooking with his wife, local history, his Irish heritage and the Green Bay Packers.

Michael was predeceased by his father James E. Keenan, his grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Survivors include his wife, Jessica Keenan; beloved daughters, Sydney and Avery Keenan; his mother, Margaret Keenan; his sister, Elizabeth (Matt) Gregory and brother, Timothy (Mary) Keenan; his niece and nephews, Patrick, Connor, Ryan Keenan and Aidan and Kerry Gregory; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service is planned at a later date.

HUDSON FALLS – Kristen M. Temple, 44 of Hudson Falls, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020, under the care of hospice at her fathers home in Fort Ann.

Kristen Michele Temple was gifted to the world on March 21, 1976. Born in Ticonderoga NY, she was adopted at 10 weeks and began her new life in Fort Ann. She loved horses and cats and began riding at Jan-San Acres when she was seven. Soon after, she was gifted her first horse Mike, who happily carried Kristen and her best friend, Molly McFadden on many backyard adventures.

Kristen and Molly became involved with Girl Scouts when their moms started a troop for Fort Ann girls. Kristen transferred to Hudson Falls Middle School and enjoyed having her mom as her 7th and 8th grade Art teacher.

Kristen’s favorite place on earth was South Welfleet, Cape Cod, where she and her family spent many summer vacations. Kristen was a redhead and of course had that signature personality, some might have called her “bossy”! By taking on the responsibility of social director at the beach every day, Kristen assured that she and her parents were always socially connected with fun and interesting people.

The summer before her senior year, 17-year-old Kristen was discovered to have Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She was treated with great care and ultimate success by Dr. JoAnne Porter of the Children’s Cancer Center at Albany Medical Hospital. Later Kristen was honored to be recognized by Channel 6’s “Melodies of Christmas” at Proctor’s Theater, through which she was highlighted as a young cancer survivor in a video seen on television. After having received chemotherapy and then radiation for over a year and seeing so many other young children fighting their way through the scourge of cancer, Kristen decided her life’s vocation was to be a nurse. She became a CNA, then furthered her education to become an LPN. She worked at several nursing home facilities, her favorite was Teresian House where she found the love of caring for the elderly was most satisfying and rewarding and would be her life-long commitment. While living in Albany, Kristen found time to become a foster parent for many abandoned and rescued cats while raising her beautiful daughter Marley, but when twins Ahayla and Arion (both their initials “ART” in honor of her mother) came along it was time to return to the North country to be near her parents.

Marley, Ahayla and Arion were lovers of all things Minnie and Mickey, and Kristen made sure that she was able to take her children on the vacation of a lifetime at Disneyland in Florida.

Kristen then was employed by Fort Hudson Health Care Facility while she and her children lived in Hudson Falls. Tragically, during this last employment Kristen was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought bravely for 3 years with the relentless investigation for the newest and most effective help and treatment by Dr. Christopher Mason at the Glens Falls Cancer Center. Kristen’s family gratefully acknowledges his unyielding devotion to his patients as one of the finest Oncologists to be found anywhere.

Because of the current healthcare crisis caused by the Coronavirus, Kristen and her 3 children lived with her parents for her last 3 weeks. High Peaks Hospice health care professionals Maura and Debbie cared for Kristen with great love and tenderness during her final days, and thankfully, Kristen was able to leave her earthly home, peacefully, with a little smile, and her Mom and Dad at her bedside.

Kristen is survived by her parents, Maureen and Robin Temple, her daughter Marley Olivia MacPherson, her twins Ahayla and Arion Temple, niece Alexis Temple, and sister Lauren Temple.

Also, her extended birth family- mother Judy LaMott, grandmother, special sister Jennifer Burnett, and two other sisters and a brother.

Warmer weather will come to help us celebrate the life of Kristen. Until such time that we all can gather to share stories and hugs, we will think of this brave young woman who gave life her best shot! Stay tuned for that date to be announced.

GANSEVOORT- Donald J.  LaCross passed away on May 4^th, 2020 at Fort Hudson Nursing Home, due to complications from COVID 19, he was 83. 

Born on July 7^th, 1936 in Hudson Falls, he was the youngest son of Lester and Theresa (Chabot) LaCross.

Donald was predeceased by both of his parents. 

He attended Hudson Falls School and left to serve in the Air Force, where he served from 1953-1957 as a flight line mechanic. He received the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal.

After the service he worked at Finch Prynn for 36 years as a class A machinist. He served as president of his Union local. The National Association of machinist and aerospace workers. He also served as President of Coopers Cave FCU.

He was known for his great sense of humor and his easy going personality. He enjoyed his family most of all and was known to everyone as Pepere.

He had a love for the outdoors whether it be watersports, motorcycling, snowmobiling or golfing. A cross country trip in 1976, is one that will not be forgotten. He also enjoyed taking his family camping to Florida and every summer going to Delaware.

Left behind to cherish his memories is his wife of 62 years Kathryn LaCross. His son Timothy

(Victoria) LaCross, son Joseph (Shannon) LaCross, Grandchildren, Bethane (Keith) Williamson,

Meghan (Rob) LaCross, Abigail (Jonathan) LaCross, Rhiannon (Matt) LaCross. Great

Grandchildren, Ethan, Ella, Payton, Levi, Skylor, Blake, and Nathan. His brother Robert LaCross and sister Janet Clear. His extended children, Kelly Morgan and Randy Edgerly and his sister in laws Joan Graham and Lorraine Prevost.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the entire staff and administration on S-Wing at the Fort Hudson Nursing Home. They all went above and beyond during these difficult times. We live amongst angels.

Due to the ongoing pandemic the family will be having a private burial in the future at their discretion.

SOUTH GLENS FALLS – Dolores “Dolly” Williams, 83, of South Glens Falls, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020, at the Glens Falls Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in West Glens Falls.

Born on July 2, 1936, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Eva (Hall) Jarvis.

Dolly was a graduate of Glens Falls High School.

On November 13, 1959, she married Everett Williams in Glens Falls.  He passed away on April 6, 2004, after 44 years of marriage.

Dolly worked for several years as a window decorator at Montgomery Ward in Glens Falls.  She carried her love and talent of decorating to her own home.  She would take great care and joy in decorating her window and porch for every season including the Balloon Festival at her home on Hudson Street in South Glens Falls.  Art and crafting were part of her family heritage, her and her sisters were known for talents as a seamstress and making dolls.  Some of those dolls are still cherished by family and friends who they were gifted to.   Dolly was also a talented cook who made delicious meals for her family and separate diabetic meals for her husband.  She also was known for her iced tea, every summer family, friends and neighborhood children would come over just for a sip.  She lived most of her adult life in South Glens Falls, until her husband passed away and she moved in with her best friend.

Dolly also enjoyed playing bingo with her husband and going to various casinos with sister in law, Lorraine Jarvis.  Dolly and Lorraine were known as Thelma and Louise.  Dolly also loved her pug, Ty and her two cats, Daisy and Pickles.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Janice Burch, her brothers, Marshall Jarvis and Richard Jarvis, her brother in law John Monroe and her best friend Kathy Hughes.

She is survived by her three children, Kai Shane of Oakland, California, Rona Williams-Denton and her husband, Ken of Warrensburg and Glenn Williams and his wife, Wanda of LaGrange, Ohio; her four grandchildren, Nicole Williams, Matthew Williams, Steven Williams and Alexander Williams, all of LaGrange, Ohio; her sister, Jeannine Monroe of Glens Falls; her sisters in law, Lorraine Jarvis of Queensbury and Barbara Jarvis of Queensbury; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will at the Gerald BH Saratoga National Cemetery in the town of Stillwater, at the convenience of the family.

GLENS FALLS – Patricia “Patty”Ann Farrell lost her four-year battle with ovarian cancer on Saturday morning, May 2, 2020.

Patty was born on October 17, 1957 to the late Helen and James Farrell.  She was a 1976 graduate of St Mary’s Academy and attended Adirondack Community College. 

Patty worked for Continental Insurance Company until it closed.  She also worked at Travelers Insurance for a short time and found her niche at State Farm Insurance in Malta, where she retired after 17 years.

Patty loved traveling and was blessed to visit several areas of the United States. She always talked about the beautiful areas of Mexico.  One of her best trips was Ireland, so she could experience her Irish heritage and see Kinsale, a seaside town she admired.

Patty was a good friend to many and will be missed not only by her family but her friends.   You could always count on her to do the impossible, such as securing hard to get tickets for the Rolling Stones concert or  tickets for an Adirondack Red Wings Caldor Cup game.

Over the years, she participated in a bowling league, although she was a leftie, so she said it was not her favorite. For several years, Patty was part of the ladies fun golf league at the Wedgewood in Fort Edward.

Besides her parents , she was predeceased by her brother, Michael, who  passed away in 2001.

Patty is survived by her sister, Mary Catherine “Kathy” Farrell of Glens Falls; her two brothers, James Farrell of Glens Falls and William Farrell of Tampa, Fl; her two nieces and their families, Christina Farrell of Brooksville, Fl and Jennifer Farrell of Thief River Falls, Mn; and her beloved rescue dog, Darla.

Services will be private. 

The family would like to thank the angels disguised as nurses in Tower 2 of Glens Falls Hospital, Dr Stoutenburg and the staff at  C R Wood Cancer Center and High Peaks Hospice.

HUDSON FALLS – Charles Lee Edgerly, 86, of Hudson Falls, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at the Fort Hudson Health Care Facility in Fort Edward. 

Born on April 8, 1934 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late James and Alva (Durkee) Edgerly, whom he spoke of often about the love he had for them.  He loved all of his family and there were lots of them.  One of his favorite pastimes was going to breakfast regularly with all of his brothers.

Charles  “Chuck or Chuckie” was a hard worker, who did not know the word lazy. After his service in the army as a tank driver, he stated he felt like Gomer Pile with two left feet.  He had several jobs during his life, and finally made his dream of owning his own bar a reality.  He owned and operated One More Grill in Fort Edward for many years.  It was the go-to place for all of the local mill employees, after a long day/night of work. 

He loved antique/classic cars and had owned several throughout his lifetime.  He was a member of Coopers Cave Car Club and loved going to all the car shows with his friends.  One of his favorites was his green 54 Buick Special that we would often take rides to Vermont on Sundays to visit our relatives while listening to Boxcar Willie on the 8-track player.  Sundays were “family day” he would say.  Chuck was also a proud member of The United Methodist Church in Hudson Falls, where he rarely would miss a Sunday.  He had met and made many friends throughout his life.  He seemed to know everyone, and everyone knew him.  After he retired, Chuck bought a small camper and put it at Hadlock Pond where he stayed and enjoyed it every summer for several years. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Arnold, Alton, Ernie, Ralph, Edward and his sisters, Helene, Millicent, Ella Mae & Patricia.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Randy (Christine) Edgerly & their daughters, Hannah and Bridget; Kelly (Mike) Morgan and their children, Randi (Joel) Norton, James Mullen, Michael and Sara Morgan; Arnold Edgerly and his children, Adrienne (Blake) Martindale, Colby Fuller and Benjamin Edgerly; along with his five great-grandchildren, Caden and Brynlee Norton and Zoey, McKenzie & Colton Fuller; his brother, Kenneth Edgerly; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the entire staff and administration on S-Wing at the Fort Hudson Nursing Home.  They all went above and beyond during these difficult times.  We live amongst angels.

HUDSON FALLS – Margery “Midge” Mumblo, 96, lifelong resident of Hudson Falls, passed away May 1, 2020, from complications of COVID-19, while at the Glens Falls Center.

Born December 9, 1923 in Hudson Falls, where she lived her entire life, Margery was the daughter of the late Edward and Euphrosine (Benway) Maille and the daughter in law of the late Perley and Duretta Mumblo. She attended St. Paul’s Parochial School and was a lifetime communicant of The Church of St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s in Hudson Falls.

Margery married the late Harold Mumblo, Sr. on January 1, 1943 at St. Paul’s Church. They were married 59 years.

Margery loved her work as a waitress at Winnie and Pete’s Restaurant in Kingsbury as well as Steve and Kristy’s in Hudson Falls. She loved doing her crafts and was an avid reader. She enjoyed country music and had a special love for the “Country Express Band”, where her son, Bruce was the drummer. He would always sing a special song for his mother and then would throw her a kiss which meant so much to her. She loved having fun with everyone and you could be sure of a lot of laughter, when she was  around.

Besides her husband of 59 years, she was predeceased by eight brothers, Eugene, Emmanuel, Roswell, Addison, Gilbert “Mose”, Reginald, Thomas and Harvey “Pete”, as well as three sisters, Augustine, Addline and Lea. She was also predeceased by her son in law, Harry Bromley and great grandson, Asher William Dufour.

She had so much love for her children. They were so good to her, always there when she needed them. Her four sons, Harold Mumblo and his companion, Cathy, Gary Mumblo and his companion, Tammy, Bruce Mumblo and his wife, Chris-Anne and John Mumblo and his wife, Paula and her two daughters, Euphrosine Bromley and Donna Legault and her husband, James were her greatest gifts.

 She was blessed with nine grandchildren, Patricia (David) Lancette, Dawn (Chris) Dufour, Michael (Ann) Mumblo, Kelly (Jonathan) Porter, Tammy (Kevin) Varmette, Jeff (Ginny) Mumblo, Jonathan (Debbie) Baulsir, Kathryn Johnson, and Brian (Erin) Baulsir; eleven great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. She was also blessed with several nieces, nephews and cousins, and had a special bond with nephew, Eddy Diehl, niece, Doris Sherman and great nephew, Nick Maille.

The Catholic Rite of Committal will take place at the Union Cemetery in Fort Edward and a Funeral Mass at The Church of St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s will be celebrated at a later date at the convenience of the family.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at The Glens Falls Center with special thanks to Dorothy, Cindy, Theresa “T” and Ginger who gave personal and loving attention to our mother during the most trying of times.

KINGSBURY – The family of David W. Manley is broken hearted to announce that he passed away at home on April 29, 2020, 27 days after the death of his father, David C. Manley.

Born on October 1, 1961 in Glens Falls, David was the son of the late David C. Manley and his mother, Jo Manley.

He graduated from Hudson Falls High School in 1981 and from the University of North Texas in 1986.

David worked for Lehigh Cement Company in Glens Falls.

He loved running, working outside, hiking with his dog, Shelby and building rock walls.  He was an avid sports fan and loved the Boston Red Sox and the Dallas Cowboys.

Besides his father, David C. Manley, he was predeceased by his grandparents, Elias “Bud” and Doris “Dot” Manley and Shelby “Tot” and Inez McDaniel; and many aunts and uncles.

Survivors include his mother, Jo Manley of Hudson Falls; his siblings, Stephen and Lisa Manley of Bonaire, GA and Donna Riley and Peter Sheeran of Hartford; his nieces and nephews, Rebecca Allen, Kyle Manley, Quinn Manley and Meg Gallagher and Victoria Manley; his aunt, Mitzi “Mimi” Robinson; plus many dear friends, including Sharon Sykes; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services for David will be held at a later date.

HUDSON FALLS— Frederick King, 69, of Hudson Falls, passed away on April 29, 2020 at Albany Medical Center, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on December 1, 1951 in Granville, he was the son of the late Lola Newton, his foster mother.

Fred attended the Hudson Falls School System.

On August 18, 1984, Fred married Debra Bannon in Glens Falls.

He worked many years as a farm hand on several local farms in the area, eventually starting his own handyman construction business.   Later, he worked for Galusha & Sons Construction Company until retiring in 2013.  Fred was proud of his own small business, where he made grade stakes for local construction companies. Also, Fred had the opportunity to start a food concession business.  This accomplishment was his lifelong dream.

Fred enjoyed fishing, gardening, and working in his small woodworking shop at home.

He always looked forward to spending time with family and friends, being outside in warm weather while sitting on his deck.  He especially enjoyed the 4^th of July, where his family would gather at his home.

Besides his foster mother, Fred was predeceased by his biological mother, Dorothy King; his brothers, John King, and Frank Allen, his foster sister, Fran White and his foster brother, Harry Labaron.

Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Debra King; his foster brother, Dennis Howe of Florida; his foster sisters, Vikki Perrino of Florida and Nancy Brownell of South Glens Falls; his brothers in law, Leslie Bannon of Plattsburgh, Thomas Bannon and his partner, Martha of Queensbury, Frederick Bannon of Queensbury and Edward Bannon and wife, Carolyn of South Glens Falls; his sister in law, Cindy Davis and her partner, Harold of Glens Falls and many nieces and nephews.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.

HUDSON FALLS – Joseph E. Nims, 72, of Hudson Falls, passed away unexpectedly, on April 26, 2020 at Washington Center in Argyle. 

Born September 29, 1947 in Hudson Falls, he was the son of the late George A. and Eileen (Parker) Nims.

Joe had a passion for racing dirt bikes, in the dirt or ice.  He could be often found rebuilding old motorcycles, especially his BSA motorcycles.  Joe loved travelling to Arizona, where he vacationed countless times throughout the years.  He was known by many as “Uncle Joe” but was more than just an uncle.  Joe leaves behind many fond memories that will not be soon forgotten by everyone who loved him.  He was thoughtful in his own way and his kind gestures will be missed. 

Besides his parents, Joseph is predeceased by his brothers, George A. Nims III and William J. Nims, Sr., and his sister, Joan Bentley.

Survivors include his brother, Daniel H. Nims of Hudson Falls; his sisters, Carol Humiston of South Glens Falls, his brother in law, Rick Bentley of Fort Edward; his nieces and nephews, William Nims, Jr. of Hudson Falls, Pamela Humiston of Greenwich, Wendy Archibald and her husband, Jon Bausenwein of Ohio, Pamela Archibald of South Glens Falls, Jaime Ryan of Clifton Park, Leo Rousseau and his wife, Terri of Gansevoort; as well as several loving great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Burial will take place at Moss Street Cemetery in the town of Kingsbury, at the convenience of the family.
