Hudson Falls – Carolyn Ann Manell, 57, of Hudson Falls, passed away just hours before losing her twin sister, on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at home surrounded by family.
Born on December 13, 1965 in Glens Falls, she was a life-long area resident and daughter of the late George and Ellen (Arsenault) Bennett. Carolyn graduated from Fort Edward High School. She worked for many years at Sheridan Surgical and enjoyed doing crafts, and reading and singing to her grandchildren. Carolyn had a love for the New York Mets and Mike Piazza.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her twin sister, Theresa Bennett; her grandmother, Carrie Goodspeed; and her aunt and uncle, Jim and Phoebe Gannon.
She is survived by her son, Chad Manell (Kristi) of Glens Falls; two grandsons, Preston and Braydon Manell; her sisters, Mary Bennett (Henry Baltzer) of Hudson Falls, and Brenda Martin (Jody Armstrong) of Argyle; and a nephew, Justin Baltzer.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.

Carolyn I remember when you were pregnant for Chad and me and u had a bet it was a boy or a girl and goddam u were on the ball a good handsome boy and I remember when Chad Michael was small his father Mike come over to my mother house with him and he have a big crush on my daughter and he and my daughter hid underneath Jamie play sink and we thought it was cute and Carolyn I remember when Mike teach u how to play the drums and I think that was great and don’t forget I’m going to miss u when u gone the good time we had gone but not forgotten love Karen (Williams) Hathaway
