Carol A. (Champaigne) Harrington

KINGSBURY – Carol Ann (Champaigne) Harrington, 84, a long-time resident of Kingsbury, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Washington Center in Argyle.

Born October 20, 1940, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Mary (Nevins) Champaigne. 

Carol attended Hudson Falls High School.

On March 9, 1958, Carol married Dale E. Harrington, Sr. at the First Baptist Church in Hudson Falls.  He passed away on December 15, 2015.

Carol was a dedicated mother, tending to her six children.  Her children, husband and her best friend and sister, Regina Walden, were her world.  She would do anything for her family and will be missed dearly.

Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by her children, Cheryl (Harrington) Shaw, Dale Harrington, Jr. and Anthony Harrington, her grandson, Chad Harrington, and her siblings, Regina Walden and Charles Champaigne.

Survivors include her children, Glenn Harrington and his wife, Cheryl, Kelly Manning and her husband, Jeff, Scott Harrington and his wife, Heather; her grandchildren, Eric, Richard, Sean, John, Joshua, Jeremy, Monique, Tabitha, Brittney, Glenn Jr., Christopher, Kasey, Aaron, Kristi, Cheri, Joseph, Matthew, David, Brett, and Tess; her beloved great grandchildren; her daughter in law, Carrie Harrington; her sisters in law, Sherry Havens and Donna Leombruno; her brother in law, Nicholas Harrington; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 4pm-7pm at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11am on Friday, March 28, 2025, at St. Michael the Archangel Church, located at 80 Saratoga Avenue in South Glens Falls.

Memorial donations in memory of Carol may be made to the Washington Center, 4573 State Route 40, Argyle, New York 12809 or The Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601.
