KINGSBURY – Beverly Hitchcock, 79, of Kingsbury, went into the arms of the Lord on Monday, December 11, 2017, at the Fort Hudson Nursing Center
Born October 20, 1938, in Whitehall, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Florence (Hammond) McNaughton.
On May 2, 1959, she married Collins Hitchcock in Glens Falls. Collins passed away on January 7, 2017, after 57 years of marriage.
For many years she worked as a switchboard operator at the Glens Falls Hospital.
She was a member of the Kingsbury Baptist Church.
Beverly and her husband enjoyed wintering in Florida.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her four children, Tammy Stopinski and her husband, Dean of Murfreesboro, TN, Kevin Hitchcock and his wife, Debbie of Springer, OK, Cynthia Pratt and her husband, Rob of Queensbury and Todd Hitchcock and his wife, Tina of Kingsbury; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., Hudson Falls.
A funeral service will follow the calling hours on Friday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment with take place at Kingsbury Cemetery, in the spring.
