ARGYLE – Daniel John Ingram, 45, from Carlisle and Argyle, passed away on October 18, 2016, due to a tragic accident.
He was born, in Glens Falls, on January 8, 1971 to Gary Ingram, Sr. and Noreen (MacDonald) Bennet.
Dan grew up in the Glens Falls area and graduated from Hudson Falls High School.
He was an iron and steel fabricator, who was hardworking and took great pride in his workmanship.
Dan loved his family and his greatest enjoyment was spending time with them. He lived life to the fullest. Throughout his life, Dan fished and hunted, coached football, wrote poetry and listened to music. He was especially thrilled that he shared Elvis’ birthday. Dan was a huge history buff and very proud of his Scottish heritage. Always full of great stories, Dan was a charismatic man with a huge personality. He was witty, had a sarcastic sense of humor and always the life of the party. Dan was a very generous man and was always willing to help others.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Leslie and Emma MacDonald, paternal grandparents, Stanley and Harriet Ingram and uncles, Douglas and Raymond MacDonald.
Survivors include his wife, Judy (Stine) Ingram; his daughter, Jilian E.L. Ingram; his sons, Connor Stine Ingram and James William McMullen; his parents, Gary Ingram, Sr. and Noreen Bennet and her husband, Edward; his siblings, Gary Dean Ingram, Jr. and his wife, Sonya, Janine Hodges and her husband, David, Theodore Gordon and his partner, Hope, Matthew Rozell, David Ingram, Shelly Burke, Jodi Avery and her husband, Paul J.; and several step siblings; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services in New York will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls, NY.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at 2 pm at the Kingsbury Firehouse, 3715 Burgoyne Avenue, in Kingsbury.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Carlisle at 2 pm, on November 12, 2016, at Carlisle Fire and Rescue Services, 177 Spring Road.
