FORT EDWARD – Astrea G. Natale, 41, of Fort Edward, passed away on June 2, 2021, unexpectedly.
Born February 13, 1980 in Landstuhl, Germany she was the daughter of Vincent Natale and the late Rebecca Reynolds.
She proudly served United States military, in both Afghanistan and Iraq.
Astrea’s life revolved around the care and love of her only son, Daniel. She was an avid gardener, loved the outdoors, swimming with Daniel and family, and loved taking long walks in the outdoors to hunt mushrooms and exercise. She had a passion for animals, pets, gaming and campfires.
Survivors include her son, Daniel Potts; her fiancé, Sean Wigley of Fort Edward; her father, Vincent Natale and his wife, Patricia of Lindenhurst and her godparents, Dottie and Gary Tucker of Fort Edward.
Friends may call Tuesday, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., in Hudson Falls.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, 6 p.m., following the calling hours, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Astrea may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
I love you always girl. I’ll look out for Daniel as much as I can. You keep an eye on my son on the other side

This is so hard even tho I didn’t see you every day it’s like I lost a family member, I did lose a family member and this hurts. You came into my life back in 98. I’m just lost for words about this but know this Duce Train for life.

As a childhood friend of Astrea in Georgia, I am shocked that knew that she passed away and Drew said that I lost a friend. We have recently just started reaching back out to each other I was hoping to meet up the world is mysterious and weird I hope that her friends and family got to see the love and compassionate person who love children and animals. I will miss her and I wish we could have gotten more time together I hope that she’s a better place resting and smiling down on us the condolences to her son and the people who are around her I’ll always have fond memories and happy thoughts of her it’s sending my condolences your childhood friend Holly.
