Mary was a waitress for many years. She had been employed at Young’s Chinese Restaurant in Glens Falls when they were located on Elm Street.
She had a deep passion for rescuing animals. When she heard about a homeless animal, she would immediately go to its rescue. Mary loved flowers, going to the Farmer’s Market and day trips shopping. There would occasionally be times when she would enjoy a cold Genny Light. One of her favorite actors was “yummy” George Clooney. Mary was a participant in the Boston Marathon and proud she was able accomplish such a task.
Mary was a huge fan of Willie Nelson. Whenever Willie performed at the old Buck & Mikes in Glens Falls, she was there. Mary often spoke about the great times she had at Willie’s shows and shared the story of when she had a tour of Willie’s bus.
All in all, Mary had a wonderful life. She truly loved all her children and grandchildren. However, “her boys” were her favorite.
