HUDSON FALLS – Beverly M. Dube, 94, of Brenda Drive, passed away on Friday, Deceember 9, 2016, at her home.
Born April 10, 1922 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Eber and Lillian (LaRose) Gaulin.
On March 28, 1948, she married Robert Dube in St. Paul’s Church. He died March 4, 1976.
Bev worked for many years as a teller at the First National Bank, now known as TDBank in Hudson Falls. In 1969 she began working for the village of Hudson Falls as payroll clerk, a position she held until her retirement in 1987.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s Church in Hudson Falls.
Her enjoyments included bowling and serving with the Hudson Falls Branch of the Glens Falls Hospital Guild.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a son R. Bruce Dube who died July 4, 1952.
Survivors include one son, Edward Dube of Hudson Falls; a sister, Ruth M. St. Louis and her husband, Leo of Hudson Falls; three nieces, three nephews; three grandnieces and three grand nephews: sister in law, Elizabeth “Boots” Dube of Durham, NC.
There are no calling hours.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11A.M. on Wednesday at St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s Church, on the park, in Hudson Falls with the Rev. Thomas Babiuch, pastor, officiating.
The Rite of Committal will follow in t. Paul’s Cemetery in the town of Kingsbury.
The family suggests memorials in Mrs. Dube’s name be made to the Fort Edward rescue Squad, Inc., P.O. Box 226, Fort Edward, NY 12828.
