GLENS FALLS – Dwight “Doug” Day, Jr., 41, of Glens Falls, passed away unexpectedly, on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on October 29, 1982, in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Dwight D. Day, Sr. and Pam (Manney) Day.
Doug attended Glens Falls School.
On July 25, 2009, he married Ashlee Wendell at the park in Hudson Falls.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and most of all spending time with his children.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his grandfather, Lynn Day.
Doug is survived by his wife, Ashlee Day; his children, Zada (Katie) Pike, Tyler Steves, Trent Day and Averie Day; one grandchild on the way; his sister, Jill Day; his grandparents, Dolly Manney, Robert Manney and Jane Day; his mother and father-in-law, Kim Wendell and Michael Wendell, Sr.; his brothers in law, Michael Wendell, Jr. and Thomas Wendell; his niece, Olivia Wendell and Nephew, Jack Day.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 11 to 12:30 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
A time to share memories will follow at 12:30 pm on Tuesday.
Memorial donations may be sent to a neuroblastoma or children’s cancer charity of your choice.
