HUDSON FALLS – Jennifer Lynn Traver, 41, of Hudson Falls, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness, at University of Vermont Medical Center on December 26, 2016.
Born January 13, 1975, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Catherine (Blakeman) Traver of Hudson Falls and the late Denis Traver.
Jennifer was a graduate of the College of St. Rose with a bachelor’s degree.
She was an employee of C.R. Bard for several years.
Jennifer enjoyed hunting, kayaking, and fishing with her significant other David Gibbs. Most of all, her first love was hockey with her son Connor.
In addition to her father, Jennifer was predeceased by her grandparents.
Survivors include, her mother, Catherine Traver of Hudson Falls; her son, Connor of Hudson Falls; her brother, Daniel Traver and his wife, Janice of Maryland and their children, Adison and Nathan; and her sister, Michelle Traver of Hudson Falls and her daughter, Maggie; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Carleton Funeral Home. Inc. located at 68 Main Street, in Hudson Falls.
A funeral service will take place immediately following calling hours at the funeral home at 3 p.m. with Pastor John Chamberlin, Senior’s Pastor at Calvary Assembly in Glens Falls.
A burial will take place in the spring at Moss Street Cemetery in the town of Kingsbury.
Donations in Jennifer’s name can be made out to the Adirondack Youth Hockey Association, 1 Fire Rd, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
