Both Tom and his wife, Jeanne, loved to travel and together had travelled the world visiting Aruba, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France. They also took yearly trips to Maine, Florida and Ocean City, Maryland.

My condolences to Tom’s family. It was a privilege to have known Tom during my time on the Queensbury Police Department.
My family prayers and love to Tom’s family. I work along side Tommy as a police officer and a friend. Not only was he a good police officer. He taught many officers how to take the stress of the job away and be a real person. I am on the road working and can’t not attend with my brothers and sisters in law enforcement to pay my respects. My prayer and blessings and I know his spirit will ride with new officers of the HFPD.
I first met Tommy years ago when he used to do our annual recertifications at the mill. He made that stuff bearable with jokes and stories. He was always smiling and always laughing. He will be missed.
Our thoughts are with you Jeanne. Brett, Trisha, Mathew, Erica, Garry, Nancy and grandchildren we are also thinking of you during this time and wish you peace and comfort in the times ahead with his memory. Tom spent his life in service to his country, community and family. He was dedicated, selfless and even-keeled; I cannot remember him ever losing his cool. His jokes made us laugh constantly. Anyone who knew him is better off because of it. Rest in peace, Tommy.
