GLENS FALLS – Terry LaMay, 66, of Ridge Street, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 5, 2015, at the Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on April 18, 1949, in Whitehall, he was the son of the late Alfred and Jane (Newell) LaMay.
Terry was very proud to have received his G.E.D and to have served his country in the United States Navy.
In 1985, he married Angela Missita in Glens Falls.
Terry was employed by Vermont Hydroponics and loved his job as a truck driver. He also loved his dog and best friend, Harry, who was ironically hairless. Terry enjoyed a round of golf, also fishing and camping at the Mettowee, where he would go for weeks at a time with his wife and family. Terry’s daughters and family were his world.
Besides his parents, Terry was predeceased by his two sons, Gary Michael LaMay and Richard Max Schenk II and his sister, Lynda LaMay.
Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Angela LaMay of Glens Falls; his three daughters, Terri Lynn Nolette and her husband, Albert of Hudson Falls, Lynda Strong of South Carolina and Antoinette Schenk of Albany; as well as several grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
There will be no services.
