HUDSON FALLS – Terrance “Terry” Bruno, 71, of Hudson Falls, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Albany Stratton VA Medical Center after a long illness.
Born on April 15, 1947 in Plattsburgh, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Esther (Corron) Bruno.
Terry was a graduate of Peru High School.
He saw action as a sergeant in the Unites States Army during the course of the Vietnam War.
He retired from Fort Edward Express after working 32 years as a Union Truck Driver.
Terry was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Fort Ann. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 574 in Hudson Falls and the VFW in Glens Falls. Some of his hobbies include hunting and farming.
In addition to his parents, Terry was predeceased by his brother Gary Bruno.
Survivors include the love of his life, Nancy (Graham) Bruno of Hudson Falls; two daughters, Nicole Trudo and her husband, Art of Jericho and Lisa McDonald and her husband, Marlon of Altona, New York; his step son, Jeremy Graham and his wife, Darla of Glens Falls; his grandchildren, Brandon Barber, Arthur Trudo, Cierra McDonald, Alexis McDonald and Gabby and Gunnar Graham; his siblings, Janice Rauer of Florida, Lanny Bruno and his companion, Ann of Willsboro, Donna Bruno-Mitchell and her husband, Mike of Missouri, Ken Bruno and his wife, Maria of Florida, Starr Perez and her husband, Eli of Peru, New York and Mike Bruno and his wife, Lisa of Plattsburgh; his sister-in-law Patricia Bruno of Schuyler Falls; his beloved dog, Bella; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
At the family’s request, there will be no calling hours.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at St. Ann’s Church on Route 4 in the village Fort Ann. Father Randell Torres, Pastor, will be officiating.
The Rite of Committal will take place in the spring.
