GANSEVOORT – Teresa Deyoe, just shy of her 89th birthday, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019.
Born on March 22, 1930 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the Late Anthony and Mary (Corti) Picheo.
On April 23, 1950, she married Walter Deyoe. They spent 66 beloved years together until he passed away on June 25, 2016.
Teresa was quite artistic. Some of her hobbies include sketching, painting, and crocheting. She also adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her step-mother, Lena Picheo; her sisters, Virginia Bartlett and Mary Picheo; and her infant daughter, Robin Renee Deyoe.
Survivors include her children, Carol Brooks and her husband, Jerry of Florida, Kathy Deyoe of Glens Falls, Jayne Relyea of Mayfield, Tony Deyoe and his wife, Melva of Texas, Nancy Swinton and her husband, Don of Queensbury, Patti Meyers and her husband, Rick of South Glens Falls, Ken Deyoe and his wife, Patty of Glens Falls, Peggy Blaise and her husband, Virgil of Oklahoma, Ann Jones and her husband, J.P. of Glens Falls and her precious son, Peter; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St. in Hudson Falls.
The Rite of Committal will take place later in the spring at Moss Street Cemetery in the town of Kingsbury.
A reception will follow the calling hours at the Kingsbury Volunteer Hose Co. on Burgoyne Avenue in the town of Kingsbury.
The family wishes to thank everyone at Mountain Valley Hospice Home for all their wonderful care and compassion during Teresa’s stay.

I just heard that Teresa passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of her, Walt and my parents . I can see them playing Dummy Rummy and canasta at the dining room table. Their friendship was so precious. Please know that I have all of you in my thoughts and prayers. We share a lot as Cooper St kids.
