HUDSON FALLS- William Raymond “Woody” Woodard, 68, of Hudson Falls, passed away, with his loving family by his side, on Saturday, April 13, 2013.
Born on April 11, 1945, in Glens Falls, he was the son of late Clarence and Mildred (Eastman) Woodard.
William enjoyed the challenge of the puzzle book, Seek and Find. Most of all, he loved watching his three grandchildren grow and his one year old great granddaughter, whom he loved very much. He enjoyed having his family around all the time. William’s family meant a lot to him, it was his world.
He is survived by his oldest son, William Roy Woodard and his wife, Mary who was his best friend, his youngest son, Randy John Lawrence Woodard and his wife, Lori, all of Hudson Falls; his former wife, who was a good friend, Carol McIntyre of Queensbury; his siblings, Clarence Woodard, Jr. and his wife, Mary , Luella Spears and her husband, Ernest, Joyce Abare and her husband, Richard, all of Queensbury, Donna Chadwick and her husband, Robert of Gansevoort and Lawrence Woodard of Hudson Falls; his three grandchildren, Olivia Morehouse and her companion, Colby Fuller of Hudson Falls, William H. Woodard and Paige Woodard, both of Hudson Falls, whom he greatly loved; his one year old great granddaughter, Zoey Abigail Fuller, whom he adored; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and his extended family, Bill and Marsha Morehouse, Billy Jo and Earl MacDuff and their kids and William Jr. and Katie Morehouse and their girls; his two special dogs, Molly and Marley, who will miss pa greatly.
Friends may call on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m. , at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
Burial will be at a later date at Union Cemetery, in the town of Fort Edward.
