Rolland H. “Beezie” Wade

FORT EDWARD – Rolland H. “Beezie” Wade, Sr., 89, of Broadway, passed away, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on January 30, 2019.

Born on August 14, 1929 in South Bridge, MA, he was the son of the late Waldo and Myrtle Wade.   Beezie was a hard worker.  He grew up during the depression, taking any jobs he could get to support his family.

Beezie served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1959.  He was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal.  Beezie worked for Native Textiles in Glens Falls for 13 years. He also made furniture at Telescope, Inc., in Granville and for 25 years he worked for Decora in Fort Edward, until his retirement in 1991.

In his younger years he enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing and riding motorcycles.  Beezie also loved getting his hands dirty working on cars.   He spent many hours riding his bike on the bike path, from Fort Edward to Lake George.  You could also find him watching western movies on his TV.   Although, the center of his life was his family.  Beezie loved family picnics and spending time with his beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his four children, Linda Wade of Corinth, Rolland H. Wade, Jr. and his significant other, Katherine Brumley of Saratoga Springs, Michael Wade and his significant other, Sandy Copeland of Queensbury and David Wade of Fort Edward; his step daughters, Caroline Greene and Robin Haflin; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brother, Clyde Wade of Argyle; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery in Stillwater, with full military honors.Arrangements are under the care of Carleton Funeral Home, Inc, 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.

Isabelle “Tootie” Wade

wadeARGYLE – Isabelle Eunice “Tootie” Wade, 86, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother joined her beloved husband Raymond in Heaven on Saturday, March 18, 2017 Tootie passed unexpectedly at home.

She was born on January 20, 1931, in the town of Salem, she was the daughter of the late George and Isabelle (Stewart) Breason and was a life-long resident of Argyle.

Tootie worked for 20 years at the Pleasant Valley Infirmary in Argyle, as a dietary aide.

She loved spending time with her family and friends, truly loved cook outs, going to monthly luncheons at different restaurants with her close relatives. She liked old movies, westerns and soap operas. Tootie also enjoyed listening to her son Brian play in the Rowdy Country Band.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Raymond Richard “Gabby” Wade. They were married February 20, 1949 and they had 5 children.

She is also predeceased by her brothers George Wayne Breason and his wife Helen, Donald Breason and his wife Joan, and Floyd Breason and his wife Marion, a sister Patricia and her husband, Charles Keys, her nephews, Walter Breason, Jimmy and Michael Breason, her nieces Kathy (Breason) Baker, Jodie Lynn Breason and a granddaughter Valerie Mattison and a cousin Gertrufe Emery.

Left to cherish her memory are Darlene (Tom) Weir of Argyle, Poncho (Marilyn) Wade of Argyle. George Wade of Fort Edward, Bonnie (Lonson) Fish of Fort Edward,  Brian (Wendy) Wade of Argyle; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; her brothers, Stanley “Jobie” (Pat) Breason of Hudson Falls, William “Bill” (Myra)  of Dothan AL, Johnny (Marilyn) Breason of Cambridge; her sister, Gladys(Joseph) McCarty of Fort Edward; her cousins, Marie “Tiny” Moore, Nancy Vanderwerker and Alice Booth.

At Tootie’s request, there will be no calling hours.

Spring burial in South Argyle Cemetery will take place at a time to be announced. A gathering to share memories for all her family and friends will take place at that time.
