Susan Delaney

Delaney, SusanHUDSON FALLS- Susan (Maranville) Delaney, 52, of Hudson Falls, went into the arms of her Lord on Thursday, May 24, 2018.

Born on November 5, 1965 at Glens Falls Hospital, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Norma E. (Cronquist) Maranville.

Susan attended the Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri and received a degree in Deaf Ministries.

She married Brian Delaney on October 17, 2015, at the Gospel Light House Church in Hudson Falls.

Susan was a past employee of the Pleasant Valley Infirmary and of Curtis Lumber. Most recently, she worked at Real Property in Washington County.

Susan was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Assemblies of God Church in Hudson Falls and performed deaf ministry there.  She had an angelic singing voice, was a great mom, loved being a wife and spending time with her family.

Our broken roads came together October 17th, 2015 and will be reunited one day.

In addition to her mother and father, Susan was predeceased by her brother, David Maranville.

Survivors include her husband of two years, Brian Delaney of Hudson Falls; two children, Amanda and Traben; her siblings, James Maranville and his wife, Sharon of Granville, Joanne Race and her husband, Mitchell of Shaftsbury, Vermont, Kathryn Flower of Cleverdale and Michael Flower of Fort Edward; her sisters-in-law, Penny Deasy of Round Lake and Amy Delaney of Amsterdam; her uncle, Robert Cronquist of Port Clinton, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Tuesday, May 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Gospel Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, 30 La Cross Street, Hudson Falls.

Funeral will follow at 7 p.m. with the Reverend Paul Meade, Pastor of the Gospel Lighthouse Assembly of God Church officiating.  Burial will take place at the convenience of the Church.

In keeping with Susan’s constant desire to help, she lovingly donated her corneas, allowing someone else to see.

The family suggests that donations in Susan’s name be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association, 4 Pine West Plaza #405, Albany, NY 12205 or to the Teen Challenge c/o Gospel Lighthouse Assemblies of God Church, 30 La Cross Street, Hudson Falls, NY 12839.
