HUDSON FALLS – Steve A. Krehbiel, 49, of Green Acres Road, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 12, 2017.
Born on December 10, 1967, in Manhattan, he was the son of the late Stanley and Louise Krehbiel.
Steve graduated from high school in New York City, and continued his education at New York University, receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Science.
He loved acting and had the wonderful opportunity to act in the movie, “The World According to Garp”, the television show, “Days of Our Lives” and in different commercials. Steve also enjoyed modeling in New York City. In the early 1990’s he moved to this area to be with his family. After his arrival, here he worked at The Hiland as a wedding coordinator, and continued to do this until recently. Steve also was employed at Six Flags, for the past ten years, as a senior sales manager.
He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Glens Falls Lodge #81, and The Screen Actors Guild. Steve loved to travel to Europe and to the tropics, enjoying the beach and palm trees. His daughter, Skye, was the center of his world. Steve was a wonderful father, always there to help and guide his daughter.
Survivors include, his wonderful daughter, Skye Krehbiel of Hudson Falls; his cousin, Lorraine Birinyi of Hudson Falls; his aunts, Therese Richer and her husband, Bernard of Canada, and Marcelle Legeault and her husband, Renee of Canada; and several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
There will be no calling hours.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at St. Mary’s/St. Paul’s Church in Hudson Falls, with the Reverend Thomas Babiuch, officiating.
