GLENS FALLS – Raymond Gleason, 63, of Glens Falls, passed away at his home on Monday, May 22, 2017.
Born on July 15, 1953 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Raymond and Anne (Missita) Gleason.
Raymond graduated from Glens Falls in 1970. He served in The United States Navy from 1971-1976.
Raymond loved his dog Bear and his cats were his babies. Ray loved to fish and play cards. He enjoyed being with family and making people laugh. Raymond was a talented floor man and took pride in his work.
In addition to her parents, he’s predeceased by his sisters, Constance Gleason and Julia Wood; two nephews, Danny DeSantis and Salvatore Roccasecca.
Raymond is survived by his companion, Linda Brandt; his sisters, Linda DeSantis (Doug), Laura Roccasecca (Doug), Patricia Hermance (Bernie); his brother Ralph Gleason; two sons, Raymond and Robert Gleason of Fla.; his grandchildren, Kirsten, Alexus, Rihanna, and Justin; one great grandchild, Isabella of Texas; special nieces, Tammie Gill and Mercedez Stone; his best friends, Brian Hecht and Tom Ward; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours.
Inurnment will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Gerald B.H. Solomon- Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd , Schuylerville, with full Military Honors.
Arrangements are under the care of Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. located at 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
