GLENS FALLS – Mary Ellsworth, 88, of Glens Falls, passed away in the comfort of her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, March 19, 2017.
Born on November 11, 1928, in Mineville, she was the daughter of the late Rupert and Gwendolyn Miller.
Mary was married to Charles “Ed” Ellsworth, who passed away on January 3, 2012.
She cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and the time she spent with them.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was predeceased by her brother, Donald Miller.
Survivors include, her son Gary (Diane) Ellsworth of Naples, FL; her daughter Connie (Rodney) LaRock of Glens Falls; her grandchildren, Matthew (Terri) Ellsworth, Gary (Kate) Ellsworth, Gwendolyn (George) Strong, Rhonda (Flan) Mulvihill; her great grandchildren, Morgan Ellsworth, Justin Ellsworth, Marissa Whiting, Kevin Whiting, Ben Ellsworth, Kaiden Ellsworth, and Spencer Flan Mulvihill; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, including her cousin and dear friend Carolyn Rosselle.
Friends are invited to call from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc. located at 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
A funeral service will take place immediately following calling hours at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
The burial will be private.
Donations in Mary’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
