HUDSON FALLS – Naomi (Belrose) Larowe, 85, of Hudson Falls went into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at the Stanton Healthcare and Rehab Center in the town of Queensbury.
Born on August 8, 1931, in Hudson Falls, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Flora (Rustin) Belrose.
Naomi was a 1949 graduate of Hudson Falls High School. After graduation, she went to work for the General Electric Company in Fort Edward and Hudson Falls. She retired from GE after 37 years of service.
She was a member of the Hudson Falls United Methodist Church. Her grandkids and great grandkids were the center of her life after her two children. She enjoyed crocheting as well.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her two husbands, Donald Dupell and William Larowe, as well as four sisters and one brother.
Naomi is survived by two children, Jeannine Hughes and her husband David of Hudson Falls and Paul Dupell and his wife Rosalinda of Hudson Falls; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., Hudson Falls.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday with the Rev. Derek Hansen, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Hudson Falls officiating at Union Cemetery on Route 4 in the town of Fort Edward.
Naomi’s family has suggested that memorial donations in her memory be made to the Hayne’s House of Hope, 7187 Route 149, Granville, NY 12832.
