HUDSON FALLS- Julie Ann Spellacy went into the arms of the Lord on Friday, September 28, 2018, at the Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on November 17, 1958, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Janice (Eldridge) Spellacy.
Julie graduated from Hudson Falls High School.
Due to illness, she retired from CR Bard in Queensbury.
Julie was a member of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. She loved cooking, watching cooking shows, baking and making pies. She was known for her Christmas dinners and her famous braciola.
Julie was a very spiritual person who loved her family.
Survivors include her loving sisters, Michelle Mattison and her husband, Kenneth of Fort Ann, and Susie Spellacy of Hudson Falls; she was a loving aunt to Danielle Mattison and her wife, Alicia; Rebecca Guy and her husband, Jeffrey Guy; Michael Spellacy and his companion, Jeannie; and a loving great aunt t0 Joselyn Guy and Mika Mae.
There will be no calling hours.
A celebration of Julie’s life will take place on Sunday, October 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Fort Ann Rescue Squad, Route 149, Fort Ann.
The family suggests that donations in Julie’s name be made to the DCI Renal Dialysis Center, 3 Broad Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
