While living with her daughter in Hudson Falls she enjoyed sunny days on the front porch viewing the farm and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren work and play. She loved to reminisce about the old days, and her childhood spent at Lewey Lake Campsite where her parents were caretakers for 30 years. She also enjoyed visiting her daughter Elaine’s lakeside camp and trips to the ocean and White Mountains with her daughters. She always referred to herself as “just a Country girl” and “A tough Ol’ Bird”.
For the past three years Edna was cared for by Kathryn and Elaine with assistance from her daughter Karen during the summers. She also enjoyed visits from her other daughter Linda.
