FORT EDWARD – Kim E. Brunelle, 58, of Griffin Ave, passed away unexpectedly on route to the Glens Falls Hospital on Saturday, September 12, 2015.
Born on August 2, 1958, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the Donald Taft and the late Joan (Beasaw) Taft.
Kim attended Glens Falls High School and worked at various jobs throughout the area. One of her favorites was being a home health aide, where Kim enjoyed meeting people and taking care of her patients.
In October of 1987, she married Alfred Brunelle. They have been married 28 wonderful years.
Kim enjoyed going to garage sales , knitting and quilting for her family. She loved her grandchildren and looked forward to their visits.
In addition to her loving mother, Joan Taft, she was predeceased by her son, Jeremie, her favorite aunt and uncle, Sharon and Ernie Germain, her sister, Joanne Rawlins and her nephew, Steven Taft .
She is survived by her husband, Alfred Brunelle of Fort Edward; her children, Marcel Rawlins and his wife, Amie of Hudson Falls and Justin Rawlins of Glens Falls; her step daughter, Sarah Brunelle; her grandchildren, Demetrick Rawlins, Averie Rawlins, Danica Rawlins and Camden Rawlins; her brothers, Greg Taft and his wife, Theresa of Georgia, Michael Taft and his wife, Sarah of Georgia and Kevin Taft of Albany; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls.
Funeral services will follow the calling hours at noon on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at the South Argyle Cemetery.
