Steve had an infectiously cheerful nature. You couldn’t help but feel happier after each meeting or interaction with him. He possessed a truly caring spirit. I was saddened to hear that his light was taken from us so soon.
RIP Steve
I became acquainted with Steve through Six Flags. He was always responsive to my questions and requests. And, if he didn’t have an answer on the spot, he’d call back shortly thereafter with an answer. He was guest-oriented and, therefore, his responses and answers were, also.
I always enjoyed seeing and talking with him.
I never knew Steve’s rich history before the lodge, as that topic never seemed to come up. He certainly led a fulfilling life.
I will always consider him my friend.
Steve, God bless you and may you live peacefully by His side.
I am honored to have been able to work alongside Steve over the past 10 years. He had a way of connecting with people that made them feel as if they were the most important thing in his world. Whether it was a client or another member of his team, his genuine interest and care was apparent. He was good natured, fun loving, and understood the importance of family and free time. Beyond the work times, our best times were when he was bragging about his daughter or we were talking about music and concerts we attended. Steve, we at The Great Escape Resort are missing you, and you will always be in my and our team’s heart.
Steve was a loyal client to the barbershop, he was a kind individual that was always happy when he came in. When I would cut his hair he talked about his daughter a lot and how much he enjoyed his job at six flags. Will be truely missed here at the shop. Prayers to the family.

My thoughts are with you at this difficult time!

Steve was always such a caring and warm person. Always had a big smile and a hello everyone I saw him. I will miss you popping in for your lemon juice from the bucket and getting you your dressing. I will miss running your pens upstairs that you forgot on the table for your lunch meetings. Most of all I will miss the joy and bright spirit you brought with you when you walked in the room. You brightened many of our days (sometimes not even knowing) You truly will be missed. Another great person gone too soon. Fly high. Until we meet again my friend xo
I first got to know Steve at Great Escape Lodge when my son, Andrew worked there. Later, he helped me set up a couple of events there. He was always so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I remember he told me all about his trip to Greece and we compared notes. It sounds like he had a varied and full life. I was so sorry to hear he is gone. My sympathies to his daughter ,Skye , especially.
When I think of Steve I always think of his Colgate smile , infectious laugh and wonderful sense of humor . He lived life to the fulest and saw humor in Even the bleakest of circumstances . He was a wonderful cook , friend , son and father. He had an exciting life and lived life to the fullest . He had experiences many could only dream of and accomplished so much in his short life . His greatest and most proud accomplishment was the light of his life his daughter Skye. His light, kindness and hope will live on in her. Steve had every gift but length of life. You will be forever missed my friend . May you Rest In Peace . God bless you and your family . Love , Kim doug and Isabella salatino xoxo❤️❤️❤️

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Steve. Though we have not met I feel your pain in my heart. The likeness of Steve to my close family members is astounding which makes me sure we are related.
May god bless you all!
