Sheridan you will forever be in our hearts. You were a true friend and I will always be thankful for how you stepped in for my boys when Jerrie died. Diana, I love you and I’m here for you each step of the way.
Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you at this time of great loss.
Diana, we were so shocked to hear of Butch’s passing. Paige and I are deeply sorry for your loss. Butch was one of the most caring and Godly men I have ever met. I remember having him as a Sunday School teacher. I know we are separated by miles, but if there is anything we can do please let us know. You will always be in our thoughts, our prayers, and in our hearts.
We love you,
Chris and Paige

There are people that come into our live that impact us forever. Mr. Race was one of those people. He was a teacher that not only taught me math but taught me how to treat others. If I was struggling with a homework assignment he was a phone call away.
The world is missing a great man now. God bless you Mr. Race and god bless your family.

I will always remember my 7th grade math teacher, Mr. Race, as a genuinely funny and nice guy who clearly enjoyed being in the classroom. Facebook is buzzing with former students who like me, remember him fondly…..know that he touched many, many live— which is all that any of us can ask for in this world. My deepest sympathies on your loss. God bless.
Thank you for your kind words Amy. I would love to see all the Facebook buzz from Mr. Race’s former students. I never fully realized all the people he impacted and I don’t think he did either.

You and your family our in my thoughts and prayers.
Diana and family,
I worked with Butch, off and on for 18 years. He was totally dedicated to his family and friends. My mother passed away on August 6th, so I deeply understand the feeling of your sudden loss. We are never prepared for the passing of a loved one. May your faith help you through these very difficult days. My deepest condolences. Darcy Rathje
Only just heard this terrible news. I knew Sheridan in college. He was a couple of years older than me but ran with the same crowd at SUNYA. Just a peach of a guy back then and from the comments I gather he couldn’t have changed much. Clearly he had a good life, no matter how short. I deeply regret that we lost touch after he graduated, but my memories of him are all great. My condolences to his family and friends.
