HUDSON FALLS – Sandra L. “Sandi” Fox, 79, formerly of Hudson Falls, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Glens Falls Hospital. Born on March 15, 1944, she was a lifelong area resident and daughter of the late John and Marie (Brouillette) Fox.
Sandi grew up in Hudson Falls where she attended parochial school at St. Mary’s and later graduated from Hudson Falls High School. In her younger years, she was close to the Currie and Chase families and always remembered their friendship and support.
Sandi enjoyed playing BINGO as well as playing cards and spending time with her friends, Robin Patton and Nancy Coffey. She was a member of the Kingsbury Fire Department’s Lady’s Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a sister, Barbara Dow; and her brother, Martin Fox.
She is survived by a nephew, Jeremy Dow of Lake George; her niece, Jackie Dow (Daniel LaRock); great-nieces and nephews, Kodi and Kris Corlew, Cora, Jordan, Savannah, and Hailey Dow, and Jayden Campbell; and one great-great niece, Kyleigh Corlew.
Friends are invited to call on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc, 68 Main Street in Hudson Falls. Following the calling hours, a gathering will be held at 6:30 pm at the Kingsbury Fire Department, 3715 Burgoyne Avenue in Hudson Falls.

Sandi was one amazing woman and so strong. I will never forget the talks and the love she shared.

Aunt Sandi it just doesn’t seem real to me.. you were such an amazing Aunt and would always do what u could do for other people. You even took in my son Jayden as ur own nephew even knowen he really wasent..You are one to show that blood really doesn’t mean anything.. me and the kids love you and miss you like crazy.. Sandi was my Mother’s best friend a great family friend. We have alot of memories to cherish over the years spending time with Sandi. She will be missed by all who knew her. RIP Sandi.
