Boomer was a very intelligent and compassionate man who tried to act gruff, but was really the opposite. He was a totally giving person who put others first and was quick to help out. He treasured his family and made sure they were taken care of. I was fortunate to have him as a friend, and 2nd father! Bless you “Dad”, We’ll miss you!
On behalf of my family I would like to express our deepest sympathy to your family. When I was a small child I use to see Boomer at my grandfather’s (Leo Benson) service station. I have fond memories of a fun loving man. Hold your memories close to your hearts and you will keep him close to you forever.
Sincerely,
Colleen Smith (daughter of Patricia Benson Wells Lane)
