HUDSON FALLS – Renee’ L. Grant, 53, of State Route 196, passed away, peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at the Glens Falls Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on June 27, 1962, in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Bert Grant and Marilyn (Vadnais) Walrath.
Renee’ was proud to have attended Hudson Falls High School.
For a number of years, she worked for Cumberland Farms in Kingsbury, where she enjoyed meeting new acquaintances and talking to old friends. Following Cumberland Farms, Renee’ enjoyed working the food bar at the Civic Center and taking care of her friend’s lawns. Renee’ was a hard worker and did a beautiful job that was appreciated by all her customers. She also enjoyed taking care of her daughter’s animals. Renee’ loved spending time with her daughter and being with her friends as much as possible. Her best qualities were being honest and straight forward. Renee’ could always make people laugh.
She had recently become very appreciative of her new loving friend, Judy Moffitt, that began to fill gaps in her life that she was unsure how to. Renee’s daughter, Brittany is “the only one I’ve got” and it saddened her to know she will miss her best years, however knew the ones she had spent with her were precious and that Brittany is headed in a good direction.
Besides her mother and father, she was predeceased by her step-father, Edward “Wally” Walrath.
