HUDSON FALLS – Paul David Wallach, Jr., 34, of Hudson Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 18, 2014, due to a tragic accident.
Born April 2, 1980, in Hudson, he was the son of Paul Wallach, Sr. of Hudson, NY , and the late Sally (Simpson) Tompkins.
Paul was a graduate of Hudson Falls High School. He loved to gamble, fish, draw, play cards, and spending time with his family. He was known for being a jokester, and would do anything to see someone smile. Most of all, he loved his children.
In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Katherine Wallach, his maternal grandparents, Margaret and Vincent Simpson and his aunt, Kathy Colvin.
He is survived by his children, Darin Wallach of Hudson Falls and Emalie Wallach of Fort Worth, Texas; his step father, Keith “Mike” Tompkins; his grandfather, Joseph Wallach and his wife, June of E. Chatham; his brother, Brian Wallach and his significant other, Angela Guzman of Fort Edward; his sister, Sara Wallach and her significant other, Patrick Dorsey of Fort Edward; many aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews, Eunity, Atrayu Wallach, Gracin Wallach, Kaleb, Jacob, Samuel Dorsey; many cousins and friends.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, 4 to 7 p.m. at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street, Hudson Falls.
The funeral service will follow the calling hours at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
The Rite of Committal will take place Wednesday, 11 a.m., at St. Mary’s Cemetery in the town of Fort Edward with Rev. Thomas Babiuch, officiating.
Pall Bearers will be, Tim Simpson, Sr., PJ Northup, Butch Simpson, Jay Harrington, John Wright and Nate Harrington.
