HUDSON FALLS- Norma LaRock, 86, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018, at Albany Medical Center, after a brief illness.
Born on June 4, 1932 in South Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Sophie (Parker) Smith.
Norma was a big fan of the New York Yankees and loved watching them play.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Martha Tammaro, Shirley Horton, Doris Blake and Joyce Aubrey, and her brothers, Johnson Smith and George Smith; her grandchildren, Jessica Vadnais, Justin Vadnais, Daniel LaRock and Elias LaRock.
Survivors include her children, Deborah Humiston (Rick), Linda LaRock, Daniel LaRock (Darcy), Robert LaRock (Patricia), Charles LaRock, Wendy Yeaton (Don) and Tricia LaRock; her grandkids, Richard Clark (Anne), John Wood (Stephani), Stephen LaRock, Todd Humiston (Sarah), Brian LaRock, Kevin LaRock and Stephanie Snyder; her great grandkids, Connor Clark, Hunter Clark, Jace Wood, Alyssa Diamond, Cade Diamond, Trent Humiston, Grace Humiston, Jakob Snyder, Rosemarie Dutcher, Malachi LaRock, Azariah LaRock, Lukas LaRock and Jasper LaRock; her sisters, Charlotte Girard, Betty Smith and Pauline Perrotti.
Friends may call on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main Street, Hudson Falls.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Moss Street Cemetery in Kingsbury with the Reverend Donald Yeaton officiating.
Her family suggests that donations in Norma’s name be made to the charity of one’s choice.
