Our deepest condolences on the loss of a true lady Marilyn Webster Roberts ,the picture
in the paper was a beautiful depiction of her.I remember her well working at the hospital, she was a very dedicated employee who, took her job extremely seriously who was admired by all her coworkers for her work ethics and professionalism,I fondly remember going to her lovely home(she had a lot of pink décor thruout , like my mother), she had purchased the home recently before we saw it, was decorated very tastefully by the previous owners like it was meant just for her.Being a young widow she did an incredible job raising two sons, she was a strong women and did an amazing job with your brother Jay and you Jon,you both went on despite being fatherless to become successful young men, which I’m sure wasn’t easy.
We’re glad she got to spend her final years close to her family.Be proud , all of you took wonderful care overseeing her.It was a vey nice write up in the paper,so many similarities your mom and mine had in common ,it’s ironic!,My mother passed away 5 years ago in Oct., the 20th at the age of 85,and her maiden name was Roberts, she too was a member of the Hudson Falls First Baptist Church. We’ll be thinking of you thru this most difficult time.Find comfort knowing you were there with her and made her final years/months/days comfortable.Reflect on the wonderful memories an hold them close to your heart. We’ll see you when you comeup for the service.Sincerly,The Bacon Family(Hugs)

So sorry to hear of the loss of you mom.mother in law and grandgother

Jon and Jay, I send you my sympathy. Marilyn is my cousin (my Mother was Dorothy Webster Ormsbee). I named my first son for your Grandfather, Ed. Your mother was a remarkable strong and loving woman, and always proud of her family. I’m glad she lived near to you during her last years.

    • Jon Roberts says:

Thank you Hannah. We took good care of her. I have a picture of my Grandfather on his horse, over my dresser. He and my Grandmother were great folks.
