Very sad, and all my thought and prayers are with the family during this very difficult time. One thing I remember about Frank was he was always “Lucky” he would pull up I front of the store with a winning lottery ticket in his pocket. All he would do it pulling it out and start laughing and we knew he won. To his family you were lucky to have such a great man in your life.

Battiste Family,
Wanted you to know that I was thinking of you at this time of loss. This community and the world in general is a little less without Frank. He was a great guy. Though I only knew him for a short time in HS, I knew what kind of of man he would be. You can tell a lot from how people speak of someone by their friends. If this is any indication, Frank was loved by many.
To Phil and Grace and the entire family. You will be in my thoughts and heart today. To Debbie and the rest of the family. Sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Tony DiChiro
My thoughts and prayers are with you all . God Bless

Love and prayers to the Battiste family. My deepest sympathy for your loss.
Frank was a stand-up guy in every regard. Growing up down the street from Hudson Park Grocery on Feeder Dam Road, I was blessed to be close to the Battiste families, both in South Glens Falls and Hudson Falls. Frank showed his measure as a young man when his Uncle Carl passed away at a young age, and came over to run the store for his Aunt Amelia and cousins, and never stopped putting family first for the rest of his life. His energy and passion was electric in just about every room he entered, and I know how blessed he felt to have been a part of bringing the Battiste and Girard families together. My sincerest condolences and prayers to all the family and friends. May God hold you in the palm of his hand Frank.
